I had a visitor in my bedroom this morning!!!!
No comment about the toes ok!!!!!
Today Boomer and I went here first..
The Hole in The Wall is located just outside the city of Port Alberni, British Columbia. The day hike is easy enough to bring kids on the adventure, is dog friendly and offers a beautiful view of some of Port Alberni's history. Previous to the 1960's, the Hole In The Wall was the opening for a pipeline that provided the town with fresh water. After the pipeline was updated, the water eroded away the wood and the "Hole In The Wall" was created.
Maybe a fifteen minute walk..
Then we went about another 500 yards up the highway to these beautiful falls.
Someone with humour and a good will had gone to a lot of trouble to make signs for the trail directions and words of encouragement!!
Beautiful rain forest trails..
Then the first set of waterfalls....
Then it was a serious hike to get to the main falls...
Boomer loves to find the biggest stick..
The rain started just as we were driving home and is expected until next week.
Same routine at home...
Stay safe and healthy!!
Yashi Kochi!!
