Today was golf day!!
The start of the Canadian Men’s amateur golf championship being played this year on the island in Qualicum and in Duncan.
Zach qualified to enter and Heather, Kirby and I walked the course with him this morning starting at 7.45am!!

The course was quite hard and unfortunately Zach did not have a great game today and some of his putting shots were oh so close.....he had a good attitude and knows he must play a really great round tomorrow in Duncan!!
Another golfing friend of his and his Dad came over for dinner tonight and it was a delicious meal and good company siting on the deck whilst looking for whales!!!
Today is a holiday in 🇨🇦 so I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and were safe.
