Boomer and I took off on a big trek out to Port Alberni!!
We first went to Stamp River Provincial park and hiked around the falls and fish ladders, very lovely and no one around!!
The next stop with research help from the Internet we went to see if we could find Weiner falls out in the middle of a huge logging forest.....
The biggest stick yet!!!
It took a while and was a great hike and eventually we did find the way down to the falls.....
Boomer was good getting down here but needed a bit of help getting back...
The waterfall was really lovely and because it is so out of the way very serene and peaceful...
It was a good day out!!!
I like this...
So how is this for the end of a lovely day....
From the upper balcony of the house Kirby spotter four Hump back whales...
Not a great photo I know..
But we could hear them and see the water spouts...
Then a deer came into the yard....
Then a huge eagle flew right over the garden...
And the day ended with this!!!
Stay safe and healthy!!
Yashi Kochi!!!
