So still no internet Anne found out from the company that the water company had been digging up a road and spliced right through the fibre optic cable and the repairs were proving more difficult than at first thought....they told her it would be repaired by 9 am this morning but of course that deadline has passed and I am again at the library.....
Yesterday the cold weather returned but it did not stop me doing a really nice hike along the river Thames whilst Anne attended her regular Wednesday afternoon choir practice.
This is the original home of Henry the 8th...quite a spread I think you would agree...
Back on the path..
I then walked through the pretty town of Kingston..
On the return journey...
Last night we went to a local drama group’s showing of Spamalot......Anne’s daughter in law was in the cast and it is a take on 🤴 Arthur and the search for the holy grail but seen through the eyes of Monty python...it was very good performance.
Hopefully the sun will stay out and we may take a drive to the coast.
UPDATE!!!!!
The internet just returned!!!!!
Yashi Kochi!!!

Historically, quite a large "soap opera" went on for a while in Henry the 8th's castle! LOL! Your photos of the vegetable and fruit market were super good. The photos of the tomatoes made me drool! We just planted some Celebrity tomato plants and hardly can wait until they bear some juicy tomatoes.
P.S. Looks like some beautiful strawberries next to those tomatoes. I'll bet you purchased some.
Not this time but they looked delicious and yes I am sure there are many stories of what went on behind those walls...best wishes les
