Your garden photos are magnificent with so much color and contrast; your camera and skill are doing a great job for you. I see so many blue flower pots from city to city; I wonder why they are so popular, maybe the color represents "good luck."

Thank you for the photos of the wonderful horses. I notice that you and Gracie were a little tentative when petting them. Usually, I have a small carrot in one hand and then pet them with the other hand. But the owners and trainers may not have wanted you to feed them. The money you spent to see them is well worth the expense as I'm sure your fee goes toward their feed bill and vet bills. The key toward keeping them alive is to have them serve a purpose; if their purpose is to entertain and the owners can make money, these beautiful horses will stay alive.

On the Outer Banks of North Carolina, we have a large group of Spanish wild mustangs which are protected and rove the national park, its beaches, and (with permission) some private property. It is so funny because when we are walking or sitting on the beach and hear the pounding of hooves, we have to look to see from which direction the group of horses are coming so that we can get out of their way. These Spanish wild mustangs are the descendants of the horses brought to the east coast by Spanish explorers in the 1500s.
