One of those rare Thursday mornings when I was not scheduled for tennis...so took it easy this morning before heading out to collect another 1000 pesos donation for the kids....
An update on that project is that all the 350 soccer balls have been paid for...also the 200 purses for the girls are covered...now I just need the funds to get a small gift for each of the kinder girls, the numbers I will get tomorrow.
I have some more pledges of donations to come in so I am pretty confident that everything will be paid for and a total of around 550 kids will receive a gift!!!!
This afternoon I went here to go hiking...
It is a beautifully run property..50 pesos admission and you could spend almost all day walking the different paths and seeing all that nature provides!!
Great views....
In the rainy season this dam overflows and the waterfalls into the canyon are amazing!!
Then around the middle of March in the dry season they have an annual concert in the canyon which I always and it as an amazing venue for a concert!!
This pipe used to transport the water down to the old mill!!
And then the views of the town are lovely!!
Tonight I went to a local hotel where there was a meeting organized by a local security group on safety in and around SMA.
It was very well attended and an interesting meeting with lots of information!!
Yashi Kochi!!
