Today is a really special day here in Mexico and the final celebrations of the Day of the Dead........
I went to the main cemetery and the crowds...the vendors....the atmosphere was electric, busy and joyful!!!

In the cemetery is a special section for the expatriates and this is where my dear friend Linda has the ashes of her soulmate Guy.......
I have known them for over twenty years and they are very special friends and I always liked Guy and underneath his put on grouchy disposition he was a remarkable man who would do anything for you..
Bought some flowers and took these photos which I have sent to Linda!!!
I like the idea that the families come and celebrate the life of the deceased with food and music and beverages!!!
This afternoon Gracie and I walked into Centro to see all the amazing altars....
The very old cemetery that is only opened two days a year...
Then up to the stalls selling all the sugared candy and decorations...
The problem is when I came home I could not down load the photos from my camera......I think I have damaged the scan disc.....sorry ..Just imagine wonderful photos of altars and churches and painted faces!!!
Finally to the main Jardin and the wonderful church and to watch and listen to this amazing concert!!!
We arrived one hour before the concert started and the church was almost full and then an hour later when the concert began every space in every aisle was taken..never seen so many people packed in close together.....the concert was beautiful!!!
Afterwards we walked around town taking in all the different activities...
Truly a day for the memory banks!!
