Yet another lovely warm sunny morning for my 17 lap run, maybe this time next week 18????
We had a lazy morning and left at noon to go to Mexicito, which is the boys home and the equivalent of Santa Julia where the girls go.
Today celebrates the end of the 12 days of Christmas and the Epiphany and commemorates the arrival of the Three Kings to Bethlehem bringing gifts to Jesus. It is a day of laughter and joy for the boys and girls of both homes. What made this especially interesting for me was that Paola’s two brothers go to this home.
When we arrived the girls were singing carols in both Spanish and English.
Paola is in the middle front row with her arms around the young girl.
Danielle made a bee line for Janet and Malc.
Paola and her two brothers aged 2 and 5 years!!!! She was so good with them and watched out for them.
Receiving her gift from the Three Kings.
Danielle sure takes a great photo!!
We all commented on how it was so amazing that about 80 children received a gift each, ate pizza and pop, watched a puppet show and jumped on a trampoline and not one tear, fight or shout.
These photos are so wonderful!!!
We had a walk around the home Hope the Three Kings didn’t mind us checking out their rides.
Some one has to ring the bell to get the kids to eat!!!
Janet and Malc taking in the puppet man.
This I think sums up the afternoon.
All the kids wore these T shirts. It was yet again another wonderful day filled with so much love with kind and generous people who support these needy children.
We went out to supper again tonight and then to a local cafe where a trio of British artists were performing a comedy routine.
It was a good show and of course with us all being of good British stock we understood every word.
So ends yet another great day….oh did I forget to mention something???
Let me think now!!!!
What was it??
Hard not to gloat!!
