We all had a good sleep and I think J & M are over the long journey from England. After a quiet morning we drove into town and did a few errands and saw the inside of yet another wonderful church.
The dome ceiling was quite fantastic.
Another plaza good for fresh orange juice!!
We wondered back to the car did some shopping and spent the afternoon outside doing a host of activities that included - eating, sleeping, reading, sunbathing and watering the garden.
Then is was 5pm and time to go and get Paola and take her to the show down town. We picked her up at Santa Julia and J & M had their first meeting. Janet sat in the back with Paola and within a 100 feet of me driving from the home the two of them were playing pat a cake in the back seat!! Priceless!!
Tomorrow is Three Kings day and a huge celebration when children ask the Three Kings for presents.
The main Jardin was flooded with people and many children. We found a great place to sit and watch the clowns perform and of course Paola’s eyes were like saucers, she just loved it.
Paola looked beautiful and her hair was braided with the orange and green feathers.
She liked the clowns and was smiling all the time.
Do you think she was enjoying the corn on the cob?
It was now 7.30pm and we could tell she was getting tired so we got a taxi back to the car then drove Paola back to Santa Julia. I stopped at a traffic light and turned around and there was this precious little girl cuddled up to Janet falling asleep. A memory that will last me years!!!!!
We took her home and kisses all around and what an amazing evening, the trust this little 7 year old placed in three adults. I know Janet and Malc are just as touched as I am about the whole evening.
We came home happy and tired but the scrabble game awaits and do you think Janet is a little bit elated about what is probably her first scrabble victory!!!!
Well done girl you played a great game!!
So ends another great day with my family I truly wish you all could have joined us tonight and shared in our delight and happiness spending time with Paola.
