This is a photo of the hotel last night..
They provided a nice light breakfast and we were on the road by 9 am......the drive was on mainly Interstate highways...flat and a lot of farm lands....we did come across a horrific accident on the other side of the road.....I sure hope their was no injuries!!!
We arrived at our rustic Airbnb by 5.30pm and Gracie drove for about two hours and again I was surprised at the easy day!!!
Tomorrow we plan a two hour drive to New Orleans and spend a few hours in town and then continue towards Montgomery Alabama...

That accident must have happened on I-10; looks like the vehicle was towing a trailer; bad time to tow on a holiday weekend with fast traffic; hope there were survivors.
You and Gracie will love Louisiana food; Croft and Norma (especially Croft) sure did, but they liked the restaurants in the small towns in and around Abbeville, LA. There is a lot of Cajun culture in the small towns.
P.S. I meant to tell you though that the food can be so hot that it will make you slap your grandmother!
