A lazy relaxed morning and then off to poker at 12.30pm....I do love these afternoons always some great laughs and stories and I managed again to come away a winner..this time 180 pesos!!!
I go straight from poker to the gym where I work out for one hour...my trainer Aaron is always so attentive and makes the session almost fun.....he pushes me in a way that I know I could not do alone and I really like him as a trainer and as a great young man!!!
After I get cleaned up I just walk across the street to the school where I teach English.
I have a very good feeling about these students, all 5en of them showed up and they seem very eager to learn.....
I have them coming to the front of the class and talking....most of them are still nervous about doing this but I can see them trying and getting a tad more confident each class.
Tonight some of them told of what acts of kindness they had done which I was really happy to hear and I know they will all get this pay forward and will participate!
For homework last Monday I asked them to bring something to class and to talk about it.
They all did this and it was a good activity for them.....
Finally before I left I gave them chocolate which was a surprise to them all...
The 90 minutes went by so quickly and I really enjoyed the class and I am pretty sure they all did too!!
Time to relax and have some tea!!!!
