Late Sunday night and I am back in Barra de Navidad after a whirlwind visit up to Rincon and connecting with my good friend Larry. I had another friend join me on the journey so I had company for the drive.

It is always so nice to spend time with Larry especially in Mexico as he speaks Spanish and I learn so much from him as we go about seeing and doing things.

Rincon is much busier than Barra and this weekend is Carnival weekend so the place was packed with Mexicans, enjoying a long weekend.

This town is where I took the whale-watching trip last year and where I swam with the whales and had just an unbelievable time and I wanted to do that again and I did. It was as I knew it was going to be, a lot of fun, some great views of the whales but nothing compared to last year BUT I enjoyed the three hour boat ride, loved watching these amazing creatures and the other passengers on the boat, so a really good time and I am glad I went.

Larry and I spent hours chatting and walking and on the way back this morning stopped and dropped Larry off at one of his friends who lives in such a neat cottage down like a 100 stairs right on the ocean about 30 minutes outside of Puerta Vallarta.

So it was a great weekend and I plan to stay here one more day and then begin the long journey south towards Cancun. I am completely recovered from my stings and no problems at all.

Hope you enjoy the photos taken on the trip this weekend and blessings to all..
