This is my post for yesterday the 6th…..No Internet tonight so will post when I can…only drove just over 100 kms today on a very windy, tight and mountainous road. Stopped at a place called El Faro for lunch, what a most spectacular beach, very tranquil and beautiful.
Saw a sign for Rv park just off the highway on the beach it was 2.30pm and I figured a good a place as any to stay. Not really a park just a small compound, very clean and I am 50 feet from the ocean, the cost 120 pesos. There are 4 other rigs here and spent the rest of the afternoon walking the almost deserted beach and swimming, checking out the lovely sunset and a quiet evening planning some routes and then later on watching a movie. It is a very peaceful place and the ocean swells are music to my ears.
I want to go to Zihuatanejo tomorrow but have been told by other travellers that all the parks are full but I am sure when they see Ramona a spot will open up, if not plan B, which I haven’t formulated yet.
I met a nice couple here from Texas who have just done the journey I am on but from the other way and we sat for over 1 hour and they gave me some great tips. The people in all the parks I have met have been super kind and always offering routes and advice.
The days seem to go by so fast and already a week of February gone. Well another day in paradise, blessings..
