After a great sleep and advice from the owner George, I went a few doors down and got myself another woman!!!!!
I think I am beginning to get a reputation…this lovely lady is called Serena from Santorini!!!
I booked her for two days at the bargain price of 12 Euros a day that includes a 3 Euro a day discount because I am staying George’s place!!!!
So I had a good map lots of food and drink and away I went. I do not think I have properly journalled just how hot it is….I do not know temperature wise but trust me when I say it is hot it is HOT!!!!
The other fact to pass along is that it appears to be as many churches as houses on the Island!!!
I really enjoy the scooter allows me to explore just about any side road.
The first place I went was Fira to pick up my ferry ticket for Friday…this place was like a zoo I am so glad I am staying outside of the town …..the place here would not be to my liking.
Soon I was on the open road!!!

This was my lunch stop except I went way down past the umbrellas and found a nice quiet spot BUT the black sand is so hot here
unless you are on the boards you need water shoes.
Had 3 or 4 lovely swims and then back on the road again!!
Found another small village that I explored on foot…
The scooter was great and I was home by 6pm and had a quick supper and back on the road again to the lighthouse at the tip of the Island for the sunset..it was about 25 minutes on the bike!!!
First some history about Santorini!!!
A popular place but I scrambled down the hill and found a nice spot to myself…enjoy these I sure know I did!!!!
Now now ladies it is only a leg..I know my leg!!!!
So what a lovely end to the day……I didn’t get back till 9.30pm so showered and now already 11.30pm where to the hours go???
