Unbelievable the amount of people with the flu or bad cold this year. The U.S. has been hit hard.
Lots of school kids have been out and just about everyone has had some kind of a bout. We've escaped most of it although I have had a runny nose and sneezing for over the weekend.
Eat and sleep well and before you know it, you'll be back out on the court!
I hope so.... day 5 but feeling a tad better cheers les
Les, it's great that you are improving! I meant to ask you if you have someone who is doing a little shopping for you for things like juices, soups, stews, yogurt, fruit, vegetables (like soft peas), and bread (for dipping in soups for more solid food), and over-the-counter Tylenol for aches and pains from the pharmacy. You have so many friends there to call on and are always on the helping end of things, now it's time for you to get comfortable receiving a little help!
By the way, yes, Beach is now walking around without a walker or cane, has six weeks of physical therapy to complete, and has completed two weeks, but the therapy is painful and he has to ice down his knee afterwards to keep down the swelling. He has prohibited me from using phrases like "no pain, no gain." If I forget, he throws anything at me that's handy, but I'm really good at dodging those things. LOL!
That is too funny about Beach throwing things at you..kind words and yes I have offers of help and both Gracie and my land lady,Jen, who does not like that term , have shopped for me..Feeling much better but I still know I have a ways to go blessings les
