As the song says all my bags are packed well at least my lunch bag and I was on the road by 8.15 am for a 40 mile drive to the ferry terminal to take me over to Denman island
It is only a 10 minute ferry ride
with great views
Once you arrive on Denman island you drive across the island about 10 minutes for another small ferry to Hornby island, my destination for the day….
Once on the little island it is about a 15 minute drive to here
where my tourist book tells me there is a cliff hike to the best beach on the island, little Hawaii as the locals call it.
It really was a hot day and I had lots of refreshments and off I go..the first part of the hike is through forest
and then it turns into a cliff top hike and I think was of the prettiest I have seen as least to rival the ones in England, Spain and Croatia!!!

My camera is acting up again periodically it gets I think over heated and does strange things and takes photos all on it’s own I think I need to write to the manufacturer about this issue..as I said it only happens infrequently but it did it again this afternoon…go figure!!!
Now for the interesting part of the day…this beach is called Tribune bay and one section end of the beach is clothing optional beach, the only one of its kind on the island and the question you need to ponder as you read this is…..DID I OR DID I NOT !!!!!!!!
It was a great day and the ferries worked in reverse on the way back and I was tired when I got home but happy to see Heather and to visit with her and Kirby!!!!
This boy will be in bed soon!!!!
