My first stop was
Not sure what kind of tree this is....
My first Scottish waterfall!!
Drove some lonely but gorgeous viewing roads!!!
What can you about a guy like this!!!!!
Another lovely walk down so some great views of the falls...
This was not well sign posted but a great piece of history!!!
My last falls of the day although these are really small cascades but very beautiful surroundings!!!
That tree again...
You may be wondering why I have taken this shot??
Tis because I was behind it for almost two hours!!!!
On this small narrow road that runs almost the length of Loch Lomond the traffic came to a sudden halt and we remained stuck for the 2 hours...apparently a bad traffic accident ahead on a sharp bend involving a bus and a motor cycle and took all that time to clear the road get in the ambulance and tow vehicles...nothing to do but sit and read my book..
before I got to my stay for the night I went here first...to say a prayer???
NO!!!
To eat...do not know the story but this once lovely church is now....
Arrived at my air bnb and this is the view from my bedroom window
Yes that is Loch Lomand and I think all night I shall be singing'On the bonnie bonnie banks of loch lomand!
My lovely room Jane and her son very welcoming and had a relaxing evening catching up on this blog and planning tomorrow's drive!!
