Sunday 11 th September 2022…..the beach!!

 My best wishes to all my American friends on this special Remembrance Day 🇺🇸 

I have been singing beach baby beach baby all day long…..

A lovely six hour drive to our amazing ocean front destination although some of my passengers,  namely Tom did have a snooze!!!

It is so lovely to hear the sound of the surf and already we have both been for a swim…. 

the casita we are staying is very cute and the gardens lovely!!

watched the end of the great tennis match 

and now we are going out for dinner.

Troncones is a very small rustic little town about thirty minutes away from Ixtapa very laid back…

I did not realize that this is off season for the tourists and most places are closed but we did find one really nice restaurant that was open…

Tom said his lasagna and chocolate cake was delicious and I enjoyed my thin crust pizza and flan……

It has rained for the last three hours but nice and warm..

Saturday 10 th September 2022…last day in San Miguel…

 Today finally gets to complete and join me in everything I do here in SMA by watching me play tennis!!!

You all know I am a tad crazy ….and I wanted to replicate the photo of Tom taken 8 years ago in England…not a bad result I think..

We then did some chores and Tom said he wanted to take a sombrero home…. and now he will!!!

His last fun thing was for us to go horse back riding on a sunset ride tonight……..

Because of my knee I chose not to ride but to hike and I followed behind for a short while until they crossed the river and then I went hiking in the canyon so beautiful and a new hike for me to come back to!!!

Tom loved it!!!

Sadly his last night here in San Miguel….but don’t fret the adventure continues as we go to the beach tomorrow…..

Friday 9 th September 2022… hiking day !

 Took Tom to my favorite waterfall  hike only about 45 minute walk from the down town historical centre….

Beautiful sunny day and Tom loved the hike…..
