Sunday 5th April….. a hiking day

It was a beautiful sunny morning with warm temperatures and my neighbours Sue and Bill took me in their truck to a great hiking area about 5 miles away.IMG_5663

It was very interesting to see these ruins and to let your imagination run away and think about those old prospectors with their burros roaming these hills looking for the claims of fame.IMG_5691

This was our lunch stop view.  Bill has a passion for rock buildingIMG_5693 The two little rocks on top were my doing.

The real thing…IMG_5694

We were gone over 4 hours and it was a really great trip thanks Sue and Bill.

Late afternoon was a last sunbathing session and getting Ramona ready for the travel day tomorrow.

My itinerary is to go to the Valley of Fire Park outside of Vegas for a couple of days then on to Zion National Park for a few days and then up to Salt Lake city.  I shall probably be out of internet service so I shall catch up with e mails and the blog when I can…..blessings Les
