Hello and my last post from Mazatlan...well there was some mis-understanding(actually George, a friend of Croft, didn't know the Spanish word for Sunday)and after Croft and I waited in line this morning to buy tickets for the baseball game tonight we found out the game is not till this Sunday, so they got tickets but I shall be on the road, pity I would have enjoyed the game and I have forgiven George!!
I am leaving in the morning and if you double click on the map, the right hand side map you can follow my journey tomorrow. From Mazatlan I am actually going to back track and go north to the little town of El Quelite, which I have told is well worth a visit. After that come back towards Mazatlan and take the by pass and head south stopping at Rosario and Escuinapa, both smaller towns that I think will be fun to visit. I have found out already there are so many smaller towns off the highways that are worth visiting so I am going to be more adventuresome and do more of that and see what happens. I don't know how far I am going to get tomorrow, I have a reservation in a RV park outside of Guadalajara for Sunday.
Mazatlan was a nice place to visit but I am not a fan of big touristy cities where traffic is terrible and so many tourist traps and the big yellow M, D.Q, Burger King, get the drift? I have enjoyed my stay here made so much better by my friends Croft and Norma, a big thank you to Lee for her help and showing us around and also to Croft's niece, Robin and her beau George, yes that George!!!
