Just a couple more pictures of Nanaimo, the ocean pics are from Pipers Lagoon, a lovely spot, taken just before sunset. At this time of year the area where I live used to be deer habitat and now it is unusual if you drive anywhere you don't see deer. This shot taken yesterday evening and I counted 12 deer travelling together. The drivers are aware and usually slow down in these areas. After reffing some games today and the poker night, hope those boys let me get my money back ,I leave on the last ferry for trip to Alberta. Haven't been back to this area since I left in 1993, so should be a very interesting trip. I will keep this going so stop in once in a while, take care....Les
