Almost in the center of this magical town is a place we call the Pocket Theater...it is a beautiful old Hacienda and the owners have converted it into a bar with two rooms that screen movies....
Each little theater holds 20 people in comfortable seats and for the price of 120 pesos(check it out in your currency)..you get the movie, a bag of warm popcorn and a drink of your choice!!!!
So this evening I went a seat and went and saw this film!!!
The incredible untold story of Katherine G. Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson - brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation's confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanized the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.
It was as good as the review above and it is only the second time I have been to a movie where the audience have applauded at the conclusion!!!!
If it is showing in your area it will be a great refreshing evening out!!!
