Sunday 23rd August 2015……..an early start!!!

This morning I drove about 40 miles to Comox to play tennis with my partner for the Senior games Trish……on the way there I was on this highway

notice the elk sign on the right…I have driven this highway many times and never seen any animals…so this morning just past this sign what do I see about 100 yards in front of me crossing the highway????

He was too quick for a photo so this shot is from the internet but it was cool to see and a rare occurrence I think.

I was at the courts by 8.30 and Trish and I had three good sets against another couple and it was fun and now we are ready for our first game which is on Wednesday afternoon.

After tennis Trish invited me for lunch at her husband’s restaurant and it was really nice thanks.

Drove home without another animal spotting until arrived by the driveway to the house
