Friday 5th June 2015…..yes another waterfall!!!!

I think last night’s stay the bed was the most comfy I have ever slept on…….I was on the road by 8.30am but before I left I had a short walk on the lake side..

All the roads today were small but scenic ones..

I think of my old friend Roy…we sent hundreds of days together and he was a wonderful man and it was a pleasure to have known him…..he became a very successful logger on Vancouver Island owning many trucks…

After about 350 km I came to my afternoon destination……I spend many hours on the Internet researching places to go and I have found so many interesting out of the way places on this journey and this was another delight!!!

This was a very well maintained area with good signage.

Almost a rainbow!!!

These falls were wonderful and I saw no one the whole time I was hiking about 3 miles…

Back on the road again and I went through this small town….

The two reasons why I took this shot is that my lovely Mum one of her sayings was “deary me”””   not quite sure what it meant but she said it lots…then the other reason is the steam train..my Dad for a short while was a fireman on the steam trains in England before he went into Insurance!!!

I then crossed into the pacific time zone  so gained an hour and then crossed into Washington state but funnily enough there were no signs informing travellers of that crossing……

Tonight I am staying in another lovely room with delightful hosts from Argentina in the big university town of Pullman.

The reason why I took the above shots is that Zach, the youngest son of Heather and Kirby, my “family” in Nanaimo, received a golf scholarship to attend this university(that’s how good a golfer he is) and he just finished his first year.

I was really surprised to see the photo of the the church. I visited by cousin in Pullman in 1992 and the church was one of the places we traveled to.
