Friday 19th May 2017...Day 41!!!

Time to in form you about my change in plans...the Tennessee house sit is not happening and after a short amount of thought I realize the place I need to be is back in San Miguel....

I know that I have "left" a couple of times but I always seem to be back there...so the plan is to fly to Tucson on 28th May stay a couple of days and get Little Bluey and head towards Laredo where I will cross the border on Sunday 4th June and be in SMA that night!!!

The great news is that I have my old Casita Doris back to rent till the end of September...I am back in the tennis group...will be back hiking...will be back in the poker group and already I am committed in September to retain my teaching position 2 nights a week......and wait for it...there may just be a slight chance I may get Little Blackie back!!!!!!

I am thrilled with this choice and I shall enter Mexico on a tourist visa giving me and Little Bluey 180 days........

Have a great weekend and to my Canadian friends a happy long weekend!!!

Yashi Kochi!!!

Glad you are heading back to Mexico! Much more interesting than Tennessee. You always had a lot that you were doing in helping others. Keep it up!

When you mentioned house sitting in Tenn. a while back, in the back of my mind, I thought you might be taking that gig because not too far away is the southern beginning point of the famous Appalachian Trail in the north Georgia mountains and you might be hiking part of the trail. This trail meanders all the way north to Maine. Of course, the black bear population on the trail has been on a steady increase, but the hikers always buddy-up and carry pepper spray, take precautions, and keep food and trash in sealed bags.

Thanks Michael and Peter I feel I am going home and Dee after walking the 535 miles of The Camino in Spain and last year the 5 day hike in New Zealand my days of camping and hiking are over just too old to sleep in a tent...I will continue to explore and have adventures but with the comforts of home thrown in thanks les

I am confused, I thought you got a temperary resident visa a while back as you went to the embassay to prove your financial worth with the plan to get your permanent visa.I also thought you were successful in this regard. So why are you returning with a 180 visa, sorry if I am out of line with is question, just confused. All I can say is that once San Miguel has touched your heart it never ever goes away.
Cheers and take care.
