I started out on the track at 7.45am in cold rainy and foggy conditions…so here we go!!!

Well this day was one for the memory banks…Came home and a long soak in that big tub and a quiet night…tomorrow i move on slowly north to Lake Taupo!!

Great looking hike...love the photo of exhausted Les hanging over the sign. Landscape looks similar to some of the hikes we did in the Tatra Mountains of Slovakia.
