Monday 16th November 2015…it had to happen!!

sooner or later and today was the day for heavy downpour most of the day!!!

I left the house around 9am and I had planned to go on a hike before driving north but it was just raining to hard so plan B…..which was to get a hair cut…found a barber shop in town and I liked the cut she gave me!!!

The drive was slow and tiresome only 300km but took nearly 5 hours and always like this…

The rain finally stopped and after settling in I decided it was time to stretch the legs so went on an 8 km hike to this glorious beach and headland

I enjoyed the walk and then came home and fixed a light supper and decided it was time to re organize all my stuff so I emptied the car and did a sort out, then a great hot shower and here we are again 10 pm…..

Tomorrow I want to do some hikes and scenic drives around here before I head north again and I have a place booked for two night starting tomorrow this will be the farthest north I am going on the North Island….
