I hope you have not had your email hijacked by spammers. I have nor received any spam from you but that does not mean much.
If I were you I would open a Gmail account. Prepare a group email from your Yahoo account and then copy and past the send to list onto a Gmail message. Send it that way from Gmail and see if the same thing happens. I cannot imagine any email program considering 55 emails as being too many.
If you are sending your mail over a WIFI connection then that "might" be the problem if their domain is being used too much.
I am no expert in this Les but those are just my immediate thoughts.
We are traveling basically the same route as Les - our home is in Cobble Hill. We met Rod and Sylvia in PEI and we checked Les' link on their site. We have followed Rod's blog - we were all in Newfoundland the same time. I introduced myself to Les in St. Anthony. He was the inspiration that convinced us to go and see the icebergs. Have enjoyed reading the blogs and seeing the pictures.
I have been having the same troubles when I send to shaw.ca addresses from my yahoo account. I have started using gmail.
I called shaw and they said it was an issue with yahoo, I also wonder if my account has been hijacked.
We are in Texas, just north of Galveston and heading for Corpus Christie tomorrow. We will be in Phoenix around the end of the month and then fly home for 3 weeks for Christmas. Having a wonderful holiday!!
My shaw email account was attacted last August while on our way to Nova Scotia. When we finally got to our daughter's in Annapolis Royal I was able to phone Shaw and after much adieu, found it had been hijacked or whatever. I was lucky to get a very helpful and accomadating service person from Shaw in Nanaimo, he even called me back the next evening to see if all was well with my account. We did finally get it repaired and I had to choose a new pass word, it has worked ever since.I also have a hotmail account so through that I was able to realize that something was definitely wrong. Having an alternate email address is very handy when situations such as this arise.
Good luck in getting this sorted out.
Elaine in Saltair
