Tuesday 5th January 2016...time for a road trip!!!

After the usual walking and feeding of the animals including myself I packed up some goodies and headed out in the car for

Kaukorua..so the route was from Leithfield at the bottom of the map up on highway 7 and back down the coastal road....it was a great day about 8 hours all told and here are some of the views and sights enjoy the FREE tour!!!

Snow capped majestic mountains and ocean what could be better??

I watched this man for about 20 minutes he was spear fishing and came back with 8 good size Butter fish..I bet the water was cold!!!

I think this is a Cormorant.

I then stopped at a small sheep farm and came just to late to see a sheep being sheared but did see these...

On the way home saw a few vehicles parked at the side of the road always a good sign there is something worth stopping for!!
