Decided today to take a break from the beach and to go visit a small town, Petatlan about 45 minutes away.

To the town of Petatlan.
The town was quite small and the streets narrow and lined with different shops
This is a centre for selling gold and around the town square many small stalls were set up.
It was market day and all the usual stalls were busy.
The square was busy with old folks and school kids, all of whom were in uniform.
The local church is very beautiful but very different from the usual churches I have seen this one was ultra modern.
I do not know what service was taking place here but I was given permission to take these priceless
I spent three hours here!!!!!
It was a great visit and a change from the beach although I did come back and swim in the pool. The buses cost me a total 38 pesos just over 3 dollars.
The owner of the park has invited me to go fishing with him and some friends tomorrow and I am going to go and enjoy it but I do promise for me it will be catch and release!! Stay tuned..
