Forgot to put this photo on the blog last night of the girls from yesterday. I think this is just a very beautiful photo of them.
This morning after a very leisurely morning and a late breakfast of French Toast and fresh strawberries we went to pick up the girls to take them to a local park where a Bazaar was being held by the local Waldorf school.
This was a pleasant afternoon and there were lots of activities for the girls to participate in.
This is a wizard who gave the girls a shiny rock.
Then it was time to make Poi, which is a New Zealand word for ball and it is weighted down and then tied with string and swung around in circular patterns.
Takes a lot of concentration!!!!
Then onto the Mexican version of a candied apple!!
The finished product!!!
Whilst in the park snapped this one of Daniela and a mounted Police man.
The afternoon finished with a puppet show.
Back to Ramona, which the girls just love, for some juice.
Then it was time to visit our friend’s Barb and Paco and for the girls to say good bye to them and their perro(dog) Daisy.
After a great afternoon it was time to take the girls back to Casa Hogar both Sara and I feel very satisfied and happy to have spent so much time with them this weekend.
Our friends Barb and Paco are leaving SMA tomorrow to head towards the coast so we had them over for supper.
Why am I smiling you may ask???
Well I will tell you!!!!!!
Not to brag but on the few occasions when we have ate in the motor home I have been the one quite happily; doing the cooking….and the cleaning and the vacuuming and the laundry, but I digress…
so today my lovely Sara said she would make supper…so the reason I am smiling above is what else can one do when you know you are getting this for supper!!!!!
Fortunately the second attempt proved much more palatable.
Joking aside the meal was wonderful…thanks….and also thanks to Barb for baking a lovely apple crumble pie.
It was a great evening and we shall miss you both although I shall not miss this!!!!
Even simple dice games I cannot win.
Travel safe and happily Barb and Frank!!!
So ends another great day here in Mexican Paradise.
