I decided last night just to stay in the McDonald’s parking lot and I had a great sleep and woke up at 8.15am to rain and cool weather..I guess almost six months of sunshine gets in my blood!!!
I was in search of two waterfalls today and was on the road after breakfast.
I am on Highway 1 which follows the coast and it is quite spectacular!!!
My first stop was to see these wonderful critters!!!
It was an awesome sight……I soon came to the parking lot for my first waterfall at Limekiln Park!!
The hike was fun I was warned to take a towel as I had to cross the river three times and the bridges were down also it is a bit sobering to see these signs at the beginning of your hike!!!
The trail was in a beautiful forest and very pretty!!
I crossed this one OK and the next one had some help!!
The view of the falls was soon around the corner and it was so impressive!!!!
Just a wonderful sight…I stayed for about 15 minutes just marveling at nature’s treat!!!
Back on the road saw this… I think a Coyote in the distance!!
The choices of places to stop for lunch were many and I picked this one!!!
The beauty just continued!!
It was soon time to park for the second waterfall this one I was excited to see because it is one of the rare falls that flow into the ocean!!!

What can I say one of the most beautiful sights for a long time!!!!!
Back on the road and looking for a place to stay and relax I pulled into the town called Sand City…found a great huge Mall with lots of stores and a McDonalds…
It looked like a great place for the night plus I have Internet so I can listen to the hockey game Canucks playing the Kings again and I am actually listening whilst I type this and after two periods the Kings are up 2-1!!!!
On my list to buy things was a new tennis racquet and I came upon a great shop called Sports Authority..I looked at the brands and found one that Ashley uses and she is sponsored by..so I figure if it is good enough for her it sure works for me…..it was on for $199 and I got it on sale for $99 and that includes a two year warranty …they will replace and ship anywhere in the world if there is a problem….not a bad deal!!!
It is a Babolot…so happens Nadal uses this brand too!!!!
So I had a walk around the Mall and had supper and a shower and all is well.
The map of my journey since last June I have almost covered the whole circle!!!
Well last minute update on the hockey the game is finished and what can I say!!!!
Two up in the best of seven series now we move to LA!!!!!
