Awoke to yet another crystal clear blue sky and sunny and warm. After the long day yesterday decided on a slower pace day today. I had seen The Home Depot store and I was looking to buy some hoses for Ramona so figured I would take some buses and see if I could find it. Well it only took two buses and about 30 minutes and there I was. From the outside it could have been any store in North America or Canada and inside the lay out is exactly the same and the staff dressed the same the only difference are the signs in Spanish and the prices in pesos. I was not able to find the hoses I needed but enjoyed looking around, being the handy man that I am!!
It only took one bus to get back and I spent the afternoon alternating between doing some outside work on Ramona and reading my book
Yesterday in the indoor market I saw this soccer shirt that caught my eye and decided to treat myself. The shirt cost 130 pesos and I know you all know that this is about 13 dollars. The shirt is a combination of the Mexican National shirt, the green side and a local Guadalajara team called The Bimbos (a brand of bread), the red side. At least I think that is the story. Anyway I liked the shirt and we will see what comments I get when I wear it. Boy do I have some frown lines and it really was a bad haircut I got in Mazatlan.
Of course the soccer game on the field next door to the RV Park was supposed to be tomorrow but when I was coming back from the shower I heard a whistle so went and found the game just started. I enjoyed the game and although it was like a senior game there was some skill there and plenty of goals.
Tomorrow I have some plans to see if I can locate a canyon on the outskirts of the city it looks complicated to get there but I have all day and look forward to the challenge.
Just finished supper and now getting ready to listen to the Canucks hockey game. Hope you all have a great day tomorrow…
