After breakfast this morning I wanted to see if I could get into the town of San Blas about 19 kilometers away, so I packed up with drink and food and off I went. I walked I think about 5 km's when a van with two American ladies stopped and gave me a ride into town, lucky me it would have been a long walk.
I went through the town and the saturday morning market then by luck found the road leading upto the old fort and church and it was an enjoyable time walking through the ruins and seeing the views from the top. On he way back down saw this old man tending to his fishing line.
Again after walking about 4 kms on the way back I flagged down a bus that brought me back to the village of Santa Cruz, where I walked yesterday, so i was close to walk home.
It is now 3pm saturday afternoon and i am going to break camp and drive for a couple of hours before i find a place to saty for the night then tomorrow afternoon should be in Guadalajara. So i wish you all a great weekend, blessings Les
