Today was my last day of school driving and I went at 7.30am this morning and here are my girls.
I mentioned the other day when I walk in they all smile and immediately start to count to 10 in English here they are at count No.4!!!!!!!
Lupita ready for school in her new uniform.
I then went into town to the local market to buy flowers for the house, they are so beautiful!!
In the afternoon school run the Madres were again busy so this time my travelling companion was Daniela!!
Forgot to mention that this morning on the school run one of the little girls, GiGi was suffering from a very nasty cut and bruise to her face she had fallen the night before. She was very brave and went to school and another testament to the faith and upbringing of these girls…two of her school chums walked her to the bus and each had an arm around her.
When I picked up GiGi in the afternoon her eye was almost closed but she was still smiling.
The girls all love Moto (my scooter).
It has been such a joy to drive these great kids around these past few weeks they certainly have taught me about love, caring and sharing!!!
This afternoon Linda and Guy arrived home safe after a four day drive from Tucson, they were happy to be home but tired.
We watched Vancouver welcome the world with the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympic Games. It was a very impressive evening overshadowed somewhat by the tragic death of one of the young athletes this morning on his training run on the luge.
Quite amazing that on the 31st October last year Sara and I were about two feet away from one of the torch bearers, such a thrill.
Best of luck to all the participants!!!
