We took the car into the local train station and after a 25 minute train ride we arrived smack bang in the middle of the wonderful city of Florence!!!!!!!
J & M and I decided to go off on our own again and with map in hand away I went.
The center was packed with tourists and it was hard to get photos without other people’s head in the way…the line ups to get into the museums were horrendously long so I just marveled at the buildings design, architecture and imagined those great men roaming these streets.
Sit back and enjoy Florence!!!!
I bumped into J & M in the market and we went for a drink then caught the train home about 6 hours later……culture is sometimes too much for members of my family!!!!!!!
Janet recovered to cook a wonderful supper and the scrabble game commenced……and she also recovered in time for another victory!!!
For those of you on the edge of your seats in this thrilling scrabble contest…Janet and Malc are tied at 5 games and the ex King, me…I am at 4 games!!
Another day to go into the memory banks!!!
