Why is there no play on middle Sunday at Wimbledon?
It was a tradition at Wimbledon that no play whatsoever should be held on the middle Sunday.
That meant a final could be put back to Monday in the event of rain.
But in 1991, the All-England Club decided in the event of extreme weather conditions, play would be permitted on day seven of the tournament.
That decision was only made when torrential rain meant it took a whole week to complete the first round.
The roof on Centre Court has meant that seeing the top players on middle Sunday is set to be more of a rare occurrence.
And with the weather being almost perfect at Wimbledon 2019, fans will not see an extra day's play this year.
So what is a guy supposed to do???
Oh yes watch the women’s World Cup soccer final!!!

This afternoon not knowing what to do I decided to watch the South American Copa Cup soccer final which Brazil won in a niggly and often interrupted match...
When did it become necessary to have tattooed arms to be a soccer player???
Just a quiet time at home tonight until it was time to watch another Soccer final this time between Mexico and the USA
....this was a good game with Mexico coming out on top!!
So yes back to normal tomorrow with tennis!!!!!
