Ken and I went to the park downtown Nanaimo for the Canada Day festivities and it was a lovely warm day and everyone seemed so friendly and happy.
We met our good friends Karen and John.
The kids were enjoying the ocean.
Ken is an ex RCMP officer, so this brought back good memories for him.
Afterwards we went to get some things from Ramona and Eric showed us his African love birds.
And finally where Ramona spends her time when she is not on the road, not bad eh???
Love this view from Eric’s front deck, no wonder Ramona is so peaceful here!!
