I can bet the courts will be closed and my tennis cancelled mañana!!
The US Tennis Open starts today and I am enjoying watching the live night game..especially after I was there in person last year!!!

Yep, this past weekend BB&T Bank was the big sponsor for the Winston Salem NC Tennis Tournament at Wake Forest University stadium. Two very tall fellows (I can't remember their names) were playing very hard to win their singles game in order to be eligible to play in the US Open this week in NY. I mentioned BB&T Bank because my son, Todd, is Senior Vice President of the company, and will ask him if he attended the game. BB&T presented a nice trophy to the winner. These fellows always get trophies;I bet the winners would prefer a life time supply of good quality tennis shoes instead.
I did not know about that tournament I will have to come to it...it sounds like the one I went to in Vancouver..these are girls and guys just dying to get on the big stage and then we have the jerks who have the talent but not the heads...thanks for the insight les
